ReValver Guitar Effects Software
Designing a flexible virtual rig for modern guitarists
ReValver is a powerful guitar amp and effects suite that enables musicians to create custom tone setups using virtual gear. The software replicates real world amps, pedals and studio tools, giving users deep control over tone and signal routing. I designed the modular signal chain interface, allowing users to drag and drop components like amps, cabinets, pedals and EQs. I also created detailed GUI layouts for the DSP driven effects, combining tactile realism with a clean visual hierarchy. The challenge was to make a dense, feature rich environment feel accessible and intuitive, even for first time users. Through iterative prototyping and testing with musicians, I refined the layout and usability of each screen, from the effects rack and preset browser to the amp control panels and touch screen view.
